Privacy Policy / Datenschutzerklärung

We take the protection of your personal data seriously. This privacy policy explains what data we collect when you visit and shop at luveliostore.com, and how we use it, in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

2. Hosting and shop system (Shopify)

Our online shop is hosted by Shopify International Limited, Victoria Buildings, 2nd Floor, 1-2 Haddington Road, Dublin 4, D04 XN32, Ireland (“Shopify”). When you visit our shop, Shopify processes technical data such as your IP address, browser type, device information and access times in server log files to provide and secure the website (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR – legitimate interest in a secure and functional shop). Data may be transferred to Shopify Inc. in Canada and the USA; Shopify relies on recognised transfer mechanisms such as the EU standard contractual clauses. 3. Orders and contract processing

When you place an order, we collect the data required to process your purchase: name, shipping and billing address, e-mail address, and payment-related information (Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR – performance of a contract). We share this data only to the extent necessary with:

  • Payment providers you select in checkout (e.g. Shopify Payments, PayPal), which process your payment data under their own responsibility;
  • Fulfilment and shipping partners, who receive your name and delivery address in order to produce, pack and deliver your order;
  • Tax advisors and authorities, where legally required.

We retain order data for the duration of statutory commercial and tax retention periods (up to 10 years) and delete it afterwards.

4. Contact

If you contact us by e-mail, we process the data you provide to handle your request (Art. 6 (1) (b) and (f) GDPR). We delete correspondence when it is no longer required, unless statutory retention periods apply.

5. Cookies and similar technologies

Our shop uses cookies. Some are technically necessary for basic functions such as the shopping cart and checkout (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR). Optional cookies – in particular for analytics and marketing – are only set with your consent (Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR, § 25 TDDDG), which you can give and withdraw via the cookie banner at any time.

6. Meta Pixel (Facebook / Instagram advertising)

With your consent, we use the Meta Pixel of Meta Platforms Ireland Limited, Merrion Road, Dublin 4, D04 X2K5, Ireland. The pixel allows us to measure the effectiveness of our advertising on Facebook and Instagram and to show you relevant ads (Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR – consent). The pixel collects information such as your IP address, browser information and actions on our website (e.g. page views, purchases) and transmits it to Meta, where it may be combined with your Meta account data. Data may be transferred to Meta Platforms Inc. in the USA on the basis of the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and standard contractual clauses. 7. Your rights

You have the right to:

  • access the personal data we hold about you (Art. 15 GDPR),
  • rectification of inaccurate data (Art. 16 GDPR),
  • erasure (Art. 17 GDPR) and restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR),
  • data portability (Art. 20 GDPR),
  • object to processing based on legitimate interests (Art. 21 GDPR),
  • withdraw any consent at any time with effect for the future (Art. 7 (3) GDPR).

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority; for us, the competent authority is the Hamburg Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information (Der Hamburgische Beauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit).

8. Data security

Our website uses SSL/TLS encryption. Payment data is processed exclusively via encrypted connections of our payment providers; we do not store full payment card details ourselves.

9. Updates to this policy

We may update this privacy policy to reflect changes in our shop or legal requirements. The current version is always available on this page.
